Remember that in the Bible's New Testament Jesus said: "I am the way, and the truth and the life" (John 14.6), and St Paul said: "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control..." (Galatians 5.22-23).


So why not pray:

Almighty God, as I turn to you in my need,
pour your love into my heart, that I may learn to love
like Jesus Christ, who died and was raised to life,
for the salvation of the world. Amen.
