Many of you will be aware that as part of the Diocesan Link with Malaysia, the St Chad's Trust has sponsored a placement programme which has taken volunteers from our Diocese to work with church congregations and projects in Malaysia, and volunteers from there to work in this Diocese.

The patrons of Lichfield Cathedral held a very successful Fourth Annual Dinner in the Nave of the Cathedral on Friday 5th October 2007.

The University of Staffordshire, the Diocese of Lichfield and its Cathedral have signed a ground-breaking agreement to establish the Lichfield Centre for Christian Studies, a ground-breaking partnership which will offer an MA course in ‘Theology, Context and the Pastoral Imagination’.

To mark Remembrance-tide Lichfield Cathedral ArtReach committee has commissioned an exhibition of 26 lino-cuts from artist Denis May, based on the war poetry of Wilfred Owen.

Friday 27th October marked the 60th anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral bells which were cast in 1947 to mark the 750th anniversary of the Cathedral.
