What did we do to deserve such a change in the weather?! We clearly have a Friend in a High Place. Thank you so much to everyone who uncomplainingly made the Medieval Market happen once again. 

Cars spirited away, breakfasts thoroughly enjoyed by an ever-increasing band of Dawn Raiders, and possibly 30,000 people encouraged to come into the Cathedral Close, many possibly for the first time. The one word which reappears over and over again in the response forms is “atmosphere”... something achieved by all of us, past and present.  A very sincere thankyou to everyone who contributed in any way to what was, I think, the happiest of Market days.
