This December, as part of a series of activities leading up to the next performance of the Lichfield Mysteries in 2009, the Mysteries are putting on a Nativity. The performance will be on Sunday 16th December at 2.00 pm on the Market Square.

The performance will involve four readers and as many local folk and families as want to be involved. It should last no more than 30 minutes including music and carol singing. The performers will process through the streets prior to the performance. The event will, as far as is possible, be costumed by the Mysteries. For anyone who wants to be involved there will be a public meeting on Friday 28th September at 7.15 pm at the United Reform Church Hall in Frog Lane near the multi-storey car park. The director of the performance, David Titley, will be explaining the time and rehearsal commitments, answering any questions and giving as much information about the event as possible.
