A public lecture titled, ‘Discoveries in Conservation: The Lichfield Angel—A Spectacular Discovery of Anglo-Saxon Painted Sculpture’ was given by Emily Howe, as part of the Courtauld Institute of Art's Friends Lecture Series on Tuesday, 20 February 2007, 17.30 – 18.30.  It was held in the Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre, Courtauld Institute of Art, Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 0RN.
