Vacancy: Assistant Verger

An opportunity has arisen to join the Lichfield Cathedral team of vergers to assist in the smooth running of the Cathedral and events within the Close.

Reporting to the Head Verger, the successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a team and be able to demonstrate attention to detail and good time management.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that all vergers are communicant members of the Church of England or a church in communion with it. An enhanced CRB disclosure will be required.

Salary: £13,284 plus house, pension and benefits
