Brand new guides to the Cathedral have been published in 2008. 

The Visitor Guide (£2) is available from the Welcomer's Desk as well as from the retail outlet within the Cathedral and from the Cathedral Shop at no. 9, The Close.  The Visitor Guide offers an architectural and historical interpretation of the Cathedral around a recommended route. 

 The Souvenir Book (£8) is only available from the retail outlet within the Cathedral and from the Cathedral Shop at no. 9, The Close.  It is not intended to guide visitors around the Cathedral, so much as to provide a momento of a visit -- a treasure house of memories in photograph and text. 

There is also a recent publication on The St Chad Gospels available for £3.00, and a Lichfield Angel Guide (£1.50).
