Running the Cathedral costs around £5.30 for every minute it is open. English Cathedrals are not state-funded.

There is no entrance charge to the Cathedral but we ask each visitor to make a donation. If you are a UK tax payer, please Gift Aid your gift by using the green envelopes provided, so that we may receive an additional 28p for each £1.00 given, at no extra cost to you.
