At Lichfield Cathedral - as a contributor to Fairtrade in the City, and host to a Fairtrade stall - we aspire through our commercial enterprises company to look beyond pure economics and to be conscious of the wider implications of our business decisions.
In particular, in selecting and sourcing products for sale, we try to support suppliers who themselves are committed to ethical trading, whether for social or environmental benefit. When conditions allow, preference is given to sourcing as locally as possible within the UK.
